On Thursday, June 9th the University of Toledo approved the 32,000th dissertation for publication in the OhioLINK Electronic Theses and Dissertations Center: "Challenges and Institutional Support for Advisors of Academically Underprepared Students." by Megan C. Miller. Master of Education, 2011.
Additionally in June, the Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (NDLTD) consortium announced that it had selected Wendy M. Stack's Ph.D. dissertation, "The Relationship of Parent Involvement and Student Success in GEAR UP Communities in Chicago" for an Innovative ETD Award. Wendy submitted her dissertation as a student in the Leadership and Change program at Antioch University. As of April 2011, Wendy's dissertation has been downloaded 92 times.
The OhioLINK Electronic Theses and Dissertations Center is a free online database of graduate theses and dissertations and undergraduate honors theses from students at participating Ohio colleges and universities. Any OhioLINK member institution may join and submit theses and dissertations to the database. A list of participating institutions is available.

The fifteen millionth scholarly research article was recently added to OhioLINK's award-winning Electronic Journal Center. The EJC provides students, faculty and staff at participating OhioLINK institutions with instantaneous online access to more than 9,300 journals from more than 100 publishers. OhioLINK users downloaded nearly 26 million articles from the EJC in 2010. A total of 39.5 million articles have been downloaded from the EJC since its inception in April 1998.
