Deliveries of requested OhioLINK books and other library materials may be delayed by one to three days this week in some areas, due to hazardous driving conditions that prevent deliveries and library closings. No deliveries at all will be made statewide on Wednesday, January 28. Before you head out to a library to pick up requested OhioLINK materials, please make sure that library is open and check that your materials have arrived to avoid a wasted trip.
You can check on the status of your requested items online by viewing your personal library record/account in your local library’s catalog. Once you are logged in, go to the requests (holds) portion of your Library Record to follow the progress of your request:
-After the request is initially placed, the status will be REQUESTED
-When the other library sends the item, the status will be IN TRANSIT
-When the item is received at its destination, the status will be OHIOLINK REC'D.
Some OhioLINK libraries also send e-mail notices about OhioLINK requests. Contact your library for details on e-mail notices or with questions about checking your record. Find more tips and details about OhioLINK borrowing from our Borrowing FAQ page.
