Medical Images for Classes, Projects and Presentations
Faculty, students and staff can now supplement lectures, discussions, presentations and projects with more than 55,000 images from images.MD (off-campus access), an online encyclopedia of medical images.
Images.MD contains high-quality medical images from more than 90 subject collections ranging from allergy to cardiology, and neurology to urology. Each image is accompanied by authoritative explanatory text contributed by more than 2,000 medical experts. Other features include:
- Create your own image library
- Personalize your collection
- Add, edit, or delete text, rename or add personal notes to the images
- Create your own PowerPointŪ presentation
- Browse and search the image database by specialty, collection, keyword, or image type
- Email images to colleagues
- Order CD-ROMs of your presentations
