John Seely Brown-author of The Social Life of Information and self-appointed "Chief of Confusion"- will give the keynote address From Push to Pull: Higher Education in the Digital Age at the ODCE 2006 Conference on Monday, March 6.
John Seely Brown is currently a visiting scholar at USC, prior to that he served as chief scientist of Xerox Corporation and the director of its Palo Alto Research Center for nearly two decades. Part scientist, part artist and part strategist, Brown's views are unique and distinguished by a broad view of the human contexts in which technologies operate and a healthy skepticism about whether or not change always represents genuine progress.
