Introducing: American National Biography & LearningExpress Library

American National Biography Online and LearningExpress Library are now available to all students, faculty and staff at OhioLINK member libraries. In addition, all Ohioans can access these two resources through their local public, school or academic library.

LearningExpress Library offers unlimited, 24/7 access to targeted skill-building interactive courses in math, reading, and writing, as well as hundreds of online interactive practice tests that prepare you for several types of exams including the GRE, GMAT, LSAT, TOEFL, U.S. Citizenship, and civil service positions. Complete answer explanations accompany each response to help you understand why a particular answer is correct or incorrect.

To take a test at LearningExpress Library, you must first set up an individual account. You can set up an account while at an authenticating site (on campus or at an Ohio public library or school). If you are off-campus go here to create an account and access LearningExpress Library remotely.

The second addition, American National Biography Online is a biographical resource on more than 18,000 people from all eras who have influenced and shaped American history and culture. The ANB Online features thousands of illustrations, more than 80,000 hyperlinked cross-references, links to select Web sites, and powerful search capabilities. Off-campus access is available.

Both resources are funded, in whole or in part, by a Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant and are available to all Ohioans through Libraries Connect Ohio (LCO). LCO is a collaborative effort of OhioLINK, OPLIN, INFOhio the State Library of Ohio, and other Ohio library organizations.
