Notes:

Title derived from cover. Each plate separately printed, folded, and held together with strips of green paper which in turn are bound together with string. The Geography of the Heavens was written by Elijah Hinsdale Burritt (1794-1838), and published in 1833. It was revised and corrected by Mitchel in 1848, and published in New York by Huntington and Savage. The atlas was published in Cincinnati by H. W. Derby & Co.
